Hello!  So, you’re here bcuz you would like to know a little more about MissionChik.  Perfect! Welcome!  Currently, I am a single mom, missionary pilot (wannabe) in full-time ministry.  What does that mean?  I’m only on a need-to-know basis with the boss, so I’ll tell you what He has me doing at the moment.

Right now, I spend much of my time caring for and homeschooling my three beautiful, little blessings, Jaden, Geneva, and Isaiah.  I do alot of cooking, cleaning, teaching, cuddling, and coaching.  I absolutely LOVE my life!  I honestly had no idea it would be possible for me to stay with my children full-time, but God is so good and gracious!  My babies need me terribly at this time in their lives and I am blessed and honored to be with them as much as I possibly can!  I know in the future there will come a time when the kids return to public school and I’m confident they’ll thrive there just as well.

Besides looking after the children, I am involved in full-time ministry with Bugingo Victory Ministries.  Our team is composed of myself, Krystal Johnson, and Fred and Pastor Josephine Ngabirano, (not to mention the international team).  We meet around five times per week for discipleship training and meetings, outreach to the homeless in the area, as well as attend various ministry trips within the United States.  I am also blessed to assist the ministry with assorted specific projects, including the Bugingo Children’s Home in Rwanda.  We are aspiring to take a group from the US to Rwanda this coming summer to help build a new home for the orphanage!  God is awesome!!

Last but not least, I am studying in advance for my pilot’s license.  I am very excited to say that I’ve been blessed to have an extremely qualified and spirit led pilot offer to train me.  I cannot begin formal training at this time because I will wait and train together with my future husband.  (If you’re wondering who that man is…keep visiting this site and I should be posting something about him :)  I’m still prayerfully considering whether to obtain a private pilot’s license and instrument rating or to go all the way and get my commercial license.
